Stahl Named ECAC Offensive Player of the Year, Nine Earn All-ECAC Honors

DANBURY, Conn. – Washington & Jefferson College quarterback Kellan Stahl (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) headlines the Presidents' nine All-ECAC selections, as announced by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference on Friday (Dec. 19).
 
Stahl, already named the PAC's Offensive Player of the Year, was selected as the ECAC Division III Offensive Player of the Year.
 
Stahl is the first President to be awarded this honor since his predecessor Jacob Pugh '25 took home the honor in 2023. The senior was second in the PAC in total yards, and touchdowns with 27. He averaged just under 300 yards per game and led the conference with a 167.1 efficiency rating. Nationally, Stahl ranked 11th in total yards with 3275, 10th in yards per game. Stahl also broke the NCAA Division III single-game completion percentage record this season with a 96.4 completion percentage (27-of-28) against Waynesburg University.
 
A total of seven Presidents received All-ECAC First Team honors. In addition to Stahl, wide receiver tandem Jacob Macosko (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) and John Peduzzi (Hilton Head, S.C./Hilton Head Christian Academy), offensive lineman Michael Roginsky (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills), defensive lineman Antoine Smith (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic), along with defensive backs Dante DeRubbo (Washington, Pa./Trinity) and Angelo Volomino (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) all received a First Team selection.
 
Peduzzi and Macosko each picked up over 1,000 receiving yards for the second season in a row. The receiving tandem each averaged just under 100 yards per game. Peduzzi led the team and was second in the PAC with 15 receiving touchdowns. Natioanlly, Peduzzi ranked 9th in Division III for receiving scores Macosko was right behind him with an additional eight touchdowns himself.
 
Peduzzi climbed the ranks in the W&J record book in his final season for the Presidents. The senior wideout finished in a tie for the most receiving touchdowns in program history with Jesse Zubik at 54 touchdowns. Peduzzi also ranks second in career receiving yards (4,168) and third in career receptions (250).
 
Macosko finished among the top receivers in W&J history as well. The Peters Township product is third all-time in career receiving yards with 3,234, fourth in career receptions with 209 and fifth in career receiving touchdowns with 34.
 
Roginsky helped lead an offense that led the PAC averaging 43.5 points per game, totaling 478 points. The W&J offense scored 65 touchdowns throughout the 2025 campaign. Nationally, the Presidents ranked 14th in total points per game and tied for 15th touchdowns with the help of the Presidents right tackle.
 
Smith led the team with 12 tackles for loss and seven sacks from the edge. The junior had 40 total tackles, eight quarterback hurries, and forced a fumble. Smith was tied for fourth in the PAC in tackles for loss and tied for third in sacks. The defensive lineman made offenses lose 43 yards on his TFLs and an additional 30 yards after a sack.
 
Finally, the defensive back tandem of DeRubbo and Volomino led the Presidents secondary throughout the season. The two combined for 11 interceptions and 16 pass break ups. DeRubbo is tied for fourth nationally with seven picks and is fifth in Division III in interceptions per game, averaging 0.64. Volomino had an additional four interceptions and 11 pass breakups. Volomino ranked second in the PAC in passes defended, averaging 1.36 per game.
 
Two additional Presidents received All-ECAC Second Team Honors, including offensive lineman Grant Lefeld (Northfield, Ohio/Nordonia), and linebacker Brock Sherman (Copley, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit).
 
Lefeld was a part of an offensive line that only allowed 21 sacks in the Presidents 11 games, averaging only 1.9 sacks per game. The freshman guard was also part of an offensive line that created holes for running backs to pick up a total of 1678 net rushing yards and 32 touchdowns. The Presidents averaged 152.55 rushing yards per game.
 
Sherman led the Presidents with 97 total tackles throughout the 2025 season. He had 10 tackles for loss and three sacks. Sherman also led the team with eight quarterback hurries and two fumble recoveries. Opposing offenses lost 34 yards from Sherman's tackles for loss and an additional 19 when the sophomore picked up a sack.
 
Apart from Peduzzi, this is the first time that these Presidents have received All-ECAC honors.
 
W&J finished the 2025 campaign with an 8-3 overall record and an 8-0 in conference to obtain the 28th Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship in program history. The Presidents made the NCAA national tournament for the 28th time as well.
