WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College track & field teams concluded action at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by NCAA Division II Slippery Rock University.
 
Anthony Cestaro III (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers) led the Presidents men on the track in the short-distance sprints. Cestaro III took a top finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.99. The junior also finished ninth in the 100-meter dash.
 
Nick DeSanto (Erie, Pa./McDowell) headed the men in the jump events. DeSanto placed ninth in the long jump with a top leap of 6.42 meters (21' 0.75"). He also finished 12^th in the high jump with a height of J1.85 meters (6' 0.75").
 
Daniel Deal (Butler, Pa./Knoch) and Tavan Schoenberger (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) each collected 12^th-place finishes. Deal finished 12^th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.47. Schoenberger placed 12^th in the triple jump with a distance of 12.56 meters (41' 2.50").
 
Chloe LoCastro (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) headed the W&J women in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. LoCastro finished eighth with a time of 12:13.76.
 
Marina Grado (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) took 13^th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.59. Grado also ran a leg in the 4x100 meter relay that placed 11^th.
 
Mia Reddix (Canonsburg, Pa./Chartiers Houston) finished 15^th in the discus throw with a distance of 26.84 meters (88' 1").
 
Alyssa Trn (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg Area) split action on the track and in the jump events. The freshman dual-sport athlete took a top finish in the high jump with a height of 1.45 meters (4' 9"). In the sprints, Trn took 32^nd in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.69. In the 100-meter dash, Trn placed 35^th with a mark of 13.30.

W&J heads to Bucknell on Friday (April 11) to compete at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
