Three Presidents Earn 2025 Men's Tennis All-PAC Honors

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Three members of the Washington & Jefferson College men's tennis team earned spots on the 2025 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference Teams, announced by the conference Tuesday (May 13).
 
Those earning the recognition included Jackson Akers (Logan, W. Va./Logan), Srivatsa Bellamkonda (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) and Abhinav Yarramaneni (Mountain View, Calif./Los Altos). Akers and Yarramaneni are each repeat selections to the All-PAC Teams.
 
Akers finished the season with a 6-15 record in singles play, bouncing around the top No. 1 and No. 2 singles slots in the lineup. In conference matches, Akers went 4-4 in individual play tied for the most victories on the team.
 
Bellamkonda arose as one of the Presidents top contributors in their 2025 campaign. Despite missing a few matches, Bellamkonda managed to put together a 5-7 record in singles play with a 3-4 mark in conference.
 
Yarramaneni, a three-time All-PAC selection, finished his senior season with a 7-11 overall record in singles play. The senior netman finished with a 2-4 record in conference play at No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Yarramaneni picked up the sole victory for the Presidents in their PAC Quarterfinals matchup with Saint Vincent this season with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.
 
Partners Bellamkonda and Yarramaneni were also named to the All-PAC Honorable Mention team at No. 3 doubles. The pairing boasted a 7-8 record together overall with a 3-3 mark in conference matches. Individually in partnered play, Bellemkonda finished 9-8 overall and Yarramaneni finished 9-9 on the season.
 
W&J finished 8-11 overall on the season and 4-4 in PAC play. The team got off to their best start in conference play since the 2019 season with a 4-0 start to the conference slate in 2025.
