BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College women's water polo team and six of its student-athletes recently earned recognition on the 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Women's All-Academic Teams, announced by the organization Monday (July 21).
W&J's six student-athletes on the list contributed to the 851 total individuals named to the ACWPC All-Academic List.
Anastacia Didovich (Venice, Fla./Venice),
Autumn Woollcott (Grand Blanc, Mich./Grand Blanc),
Emmie Ratcliff (Friendswood, Texas/Friendswood),
Hallie Ratcliff (Friendswood, Texas/Friendswood) and
Sydney Neumann (Long Beach, Calif./Millikan) all headed the Presidents as All-Academic Superior selections.
Alliey Cunningham (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) wrapped W&J's representation on the list as an All-Academic Excellent honoree.
The women's water program was also one of 59 schools who posted Team Honors for achieving GPAs over 3.0. The team compiled a 3.1 GPA and helped the Collegiate Water Polo Association lead all conferences among the ACWPC.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC, while the athlete must attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher.
Divided into three teams based on cumulative grade point average (GPA), athletes garnered Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41) and Excellent (3.40-3.20) honors.
