MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Washington & Jefferson College defensive back Cory Holleran (Kill Buck, N.Y./Salamanca) was selected as a member of the Week 7 D3football.com Team of the Week, announced by the organization on Tuesday (Oct. 20). This marks the third W&J fooball player to be named to the weekly national honor this season.

Holleran intercepted a first quarter pass on fourth down to thwart an early scoring chance for the Gators. Holleran totaled three additional pass break ups and matched his single-game season high with seven tackles. The win was the fifth in a row for the Presidents, who have not surrendered a passing touchdown during the win streak. W&J defeated Allegheny 56-3.

W&J Football travels to Greenville this coming Saturday (Oct. 24) to face the Thiel Tomcats. Kickoff is set for a 1:00 p.m. start at Alumni Stadium.
