NEW CASTLE, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College women's golf team picked up fourth tournament victory of the season and second consecutive tournament win at the Westminster Spring Invitational. The team shot a 342 through the 18-hole invitational to finish 23 shots off the next best team.

W&J: 1st of 8
Top W&J Individual: Megan Joyce (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) led the W&J golfers and managed to earn a share of the Westminster Spring Invitational crown. The senior finished in a tie for first place with a golfer from John Carroll, finishing with a one round score of 82.
Notables: Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area) finished directly behind the front runners of the invite, taking third place. Barthelemy finished with an 18-hole score of 83, 12 shots over par.
MacKenzie Schmeltz (Edwardsburg, Mich./Saint Joseph) and
Lauren Tekely (Glendale, W.Va./John Marshall) finished back-to-back in sixth and seventh place. Schmeltz shot an 88 on the day while Tekely shot an 89.
