CANONSBURG, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College women's golf team finished second at the annual Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational, hosted at the Southpointe Golf Club. The team shot a 373 on the day, one shot off of the top team.

Top W&J Individual: MacKenzie Schmeltz (Edwardsburg, Mich./Saint Joseph) led the Presidents at the annual home invitational, winning the event with an 18-hole score of 84. The senior outshot the next best golfer by five shots to win the invitational. This marks the third-straight season a President has won the annual Rossin Invitational.
Notables: Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area) finished as the next best golfer for the women's team in a three-way tie for fourth place. Barthelemy shot a 91 though the 18-hole round.
Lauren Tekely (Glendale, W.Va./John Marshall) finished in 11
th place with a 96 on the day.
Antolena Damico (Irwin, Pa./Penn Trafford) placed in a tie for 12
th place with a 98 as one of the Presidents' individuals.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Seton Hill finished as the top team at the 2026 Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational. The finished with a team score of 372 through 18 holes, placing three golfers in the top 10. W&J was edged by one shot to Seton Hill.
Up Next: The W&J Women's Golf team returns to action at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference Spring Championships starting on Friday (April 24). The Presidents are currently in second place, 15 shots behind first-place Westminster.
