GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College men's golf team finished second at the McBride-Behringer-Allen 'MBA' Invitational, hosted by Grove City College. The team shot a 307 on the day, two shots off of the top team.

Sean Clark (Madison, Wis./Monona Grove) led the W&J men's primary team with a first-place tie with two Grove City Wolverines. All three golfers shot a 75 on the day to finish three over par.
Notables: Matthew Morelli (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) and
William Ainsworth (Woldingham, Surrey/Reigate Grammar School) each finished in a five-way tie for seventh place with a 77 on the day.
Aftab Bakshi (New Delhi, India/Modern School Barakhamba Road) also finished in a tie for seventh on the W&J secondary team.
Luke Eckmann (Clancy, Mont./Jefferson) and
Alexander Robins (Buckinghamshire, England/Bedford School) placed in a tie for 12
th, having shot a 78 on the day.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: The Marietta Pioneers finished as the top team at the McBride-Behringer-Allen 'MBA' Invitational. The Pioneers finished with a team score of 305 through 18 holes, placing four golfers in the top seven. W&J was edged by two shots to Marietta.
Up Next: The W&J Men's Golf team returns to action at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference Spring Championships starting on Friday (April 24). The Presidents are currently in second place, nine shots behind first-place Allegheny.
