WASHINGTON, Pa. – In what has become an annual end-of-spring semester tradition in recent years, the Washington & Jefferson College Department of Athletics hosted its fourth annual Prezpys Awards Tuesday evening inside Salvitti Gymnasium to celebrate the 2025-26 athletic year.
The athletic department recognized 19 award winners. Each award category had at least four student-athletes, coaches, or teams nominated.
Jack Sacco served as the evening's host for the fourth rendition of the yearly student-athlete award ceremony, which is hosted by W&J's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
2025-26 Prezpys Award Recipients:
Male Breakthrough Athlete of the Year – Brendan Cruz (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) (Baseball)
Female Breakthrough Athlete of the Year –
Chloe LoCastro (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) (Women's Cross Country and Track & Field)
Male Top Individual Performance –
Dominic Flitcraft (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Men's Cross Country and Track & Field)

Kellan Stahl (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) (Football)
Female Record Breaking Performance – Women's Basketball (Free Throw Percentage – NCAA Division III Statistical Champion)
Team Service / Community Impact Award – Women's Basketball (Glock Foundation Game, Youth Day Game versus CMU, Christmas Toy Drive)
Best Game – W&J vs. Mount Union (Men's Basketball – NCAA First Round Win – First in 32 years)
