TRAFFORD, Pa. - Washington and Jefferson College freshman Jase Engle (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) has been selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Newcomer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (Sept. 15).
 
Engle led the way for the W&J women, finishing in sixth place at the Bethany College Invitational. The freshman paced her way to a time of 24:43.9 to finish in the top 10.
 
W&J returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 26) for a trip to the Lock Haven Invitational.
