TRAFFORD, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson College junior Andrew Sharp (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) has been selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday (Sept. 28).
 
Sharp powered the W&J offense to the program's 800th victory in a 35-7 win over Case Western Reserve, marking the third Division III school and 22nd NCAA institution to reach the milestone. Sharp gained 186 yards and four touchdowns on just 15 carries to head the ground game. He found the end zone three times in the first half (4/43/21) and added a 52-yard TD run in the third quarter. With 341 rushing yards, W&J put together its highest single-game rushing output since the 2022 regular season finale versus Waynesburg.
 
W&J welcomes Geneva College for a conference game at Cameron Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
