How it Happened: The Washington & Jefferson women's swimming and diving team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 138-97 victory over Chatham.

Alexis Glenn (
Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) and Chloe
Magyari (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) both won two individual events as Glenn placed first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:20.90) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.81) while
Magyari was victorious in the 100- (56.18) 200-yard freestyle (2:03.54).

Babicka (
Demotte, Ind./Kankakee Valley) won the 50-yard freestyle race (25.98) while Jillian
McElhaney (Butler, Pa./Butler Area) posted a win in the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.84).
Laura Travers (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) had a strong showing with second-place finishes in the 500- (5:44.13) and 1,000-yard freestyle (11:25.28) events while
Ann O'Connor (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.22). The Presidents also won the 200-yard medley relay (1:57.47) with the team of
Rachel Nye (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg),
McElhaney, O'Connor and
Babicka. The men's team competed as individuals only.

What's Next:Â The swimming and diving teams will get back in the pool on Saturday, Nov. 5, when they host West Virginia Wesleyan in the home opener at 1 p.m.
