Presidents conclude California trip with setback against Occidental

How it Happened: The Washington & Jefferson men's water polo team concluded a trip to California with a 20-5 defeat at the hands of Occidental on Monday, Oct. 8, in Los Angles. 
 
Top Performer: Will Kitsch (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) and Dylan Gwinn (Baltimore, Md./Mount St. Joseph) paced the W&J attack with two goals apiece. 
 
The Rest: Cam Spicer (Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) scored the Presidents' remaining goal, while Troy Smith (San Marcos, Calif./San Marcos) and Robert Koch (Worcester, Pa./La Salle College) each logged an assist. In goal for the Red & Black, Nick Spehar (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) made four saves against the high-powered Tigers. 
 
What's next: The Presidents will next travel to Baltimore, Md., for the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Championship on Saturday, Oct. 13.
