KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Washington & Jefferson College men's soccer team received recognition from the United Soccer Coaches for a third consecutive year and fourth time in the past five years due to the squad's exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year.
The Presidents, who finished with a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.18, were among 282 collegiate men's teams to earn the 2020-21 Team Academic Award.
The Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2020-21 academic year.
The men's soccer placed 10 student-athletes on the 2020-21 Presidents' Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll (3.60 GPA or Higher). Among that group were the following team members:
Zach Bowser (Beaver, Pa./Beaver),
Thomas Einolf (Carlisle, Pa./Middletown),

A total of 602 soccer teams (220 men, 382 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 academic year.
