WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson College is excited to host the 2024 Student-Athlete Recognition ceremony, known as "The Prezpys", on Sunday, May 5, at 6:00 pm in Salvitti Family Gymnasium.
The athletic department will introduce 19 award winners. Each award category had at least four student-athletes, coaches, or teams nominated.
Sam Stewart, baseball student-athlete and host of WNJR's "The Present Tense", will serve as the evening's host for a second-straight year.
"We are excited to host this awards ceremony, capping another year of W&J athletics, in Salvitti Gymnasium," said Director of Athletics
Scott McGuinness. "There have been many memorable performances this year and we look forward to honoring and celebrating our student-athletes this Sunday."
All student-athletes are invited to attend the ceremony which begins at 6:00 pm and is expected to last approximately one hour. This will be a business casual ceremony.
Starting at 5 p.m., refreshments will be available to all who attend in the Morrow Alumni Suite (mezzanine level of Salvitti Family Gymnasium), prior to the start of the event.
