BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The W&J men's golf team concluded their showing at the Lou Collins Memorial Invitational finishing in second-place. The Presidents recorded a day two score of 309 to finish 29 shots over par.

Top W&J Individual: Andrew Platt (Somerset, Pa./Somerset) remained the Presidents top golfer over the weekend after logging a day two score of 75 (+3). His Saturday scores brought him up to 145 (+1) over the weekend, dropping his overall finish to a tie for second.
Notables: Thomas Margison (Silver Spring, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) remained within the top 10, falling to a 10
th-place finish after shooting a 77 (+5) on day two.
Chase Crissman (Irwin, Pa./Penn Trafford) and
Luke Eckmann (Clancy, Mont./Jefferson) capped of their weekends finishing tied for 17
th having each finished with a total score of 156 (+12). Eckmann logged the best improvement for W&J on day two, shaving off two strokes.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: After a strong second day, Trine managed to edge W&J after posting a 304 score on day two. Trine slipped past W&J, finishing just two strokes behind the would-be tournament victors.
Top Individual: Zachary Pier of the host school, Olivet, posted a narrow comeback after recording a round two gem of 71 (-1). His weekend score of 144 (E) was just enough to squeak past Emiliano Alvarado of Kalamazoo and Platt of W&J who each logged scores of 145 (+1).
