MEADVILLE, Pa. – The W&J women's golf team closed action at the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational this afternoon. The Presidents wrapped day one having shot a team score of 324 (+40).

Top W&J Individual: Megan Joyce (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) currently rests atop the 48-golfer field and slots in as the Presidents top golfer. Joyce shot a 74 (+3) on the day to finish tied for first after round one with Emma Wong of Carnegie Mellon.
Notables: MacKenzie Schmeltz (Edwardsburg, Mich./Saint Joseph) was next in line for the Presidents after posting an 80 (+9) to place 10
th.
Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area) and
Antolena Damico both shot an 85 (+14) after the first round, finishing tied for 22
nd. Senior
Dinah Bailey (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) wrapped the W&J golfers with a score of 86 (+15) to rest in a tie for 26
th place.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Carnegie Mellon currently remains the sole owner of first place after having shot a 312 (+28) as a team. Mount St. Joseph currently sits as the runner-up with a team score of 320 (+36) followed by the Presidents with a team score of 324 (+40).
