TRAFFORD, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson College senior Faith Fetsko (Venetia, Pa./South Park) has been selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday (Nov. 3).
 
Fetsko led the Presidents' defensive charge, compiling 42 digs and five blocks in W&J's 2-0 week. In Wednesday's sweep of Bethany, Fetsko dug 13 balls along with 12 kills and a service ace. The senior went on to record a career high five blocks paired with 29 digs and 11 kills and a service ace.
 
W&J will look to close out the regular season strong as they face two important matches in the final week before the upcoming conference tournament. The Presidents host Franciscan on Tuesday (November 4) at Salvitti Family Gymnasium. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
