GREENWOOD, Ind. – Two members of the Washington & Jefferson College volleyball team have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be a standout on the field, competing in at least 90 percent of their team's games or starting at least 66 percent of their team's games.
Earning a spot on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team is senior
Faith Fetsko (Venetia, Pa./South Park) and junior
Brielle Moorhouse (East Liberty, Ohio/Benjamin Logan).
Fetsko made appearances in all 29 games this season for the Presidents, starting in 21 of them. The outside hitter led the team with 329 kills this season. On defense, Fetsko also picked up 300 digs throughout the 2025 campaign. These numbers led Fetsko to be only the second player in W&J volleyball history to achieve 1000 career kills and 1000 career digs.
In the classroom, Fetsko had a 3.71 GPA majoring in psychology. Fetsko has been a recipient of the Rule, Hughes, Murphy, and Paul Reardon Awards. Fetsko has also been inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society. This is the first year that Fetsko has been named to the All-District® Team.
Moorhouse also appeared in all 29 contests this season for W&J, with starts in 28 of them. The team's primary setter had 789 assists on the season and an additional 225 digs on defense. Moorhouse currently ranks fifth all-time in W&J history for career assists since the start of the rally scoring era.
In the classroom, Moorhouse obtained a 3.77 GPA while majoring in biology and Spanish. This is the second time that Moorhouse has been named to the All-District® Team.
W&J has placed at least one women's volleyball student athlete on the Academic All-District® Teams for the last six seasons.
