TRAFFORD, Pa. - Washington & Jefferson College women's lacrosse junior Mya Bolinda (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) was awarded Presidents' Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Week, announced by the conference Monday (April 21). This is Bolinda's second Player of the Week honor on the season.

Bolinda led the Presidents in all facets during a 2-0 week against Saint Vincent and Bethany, as she racked up six goals, six assists, 12 points, seven draw controls and three ground balls. Against the Bearcats, Bolinda compiled four points, two goals and two assists in the 17-1 victory. Then against the Bison, the junior midfielder scored four goals and dished four assists for a total of eight points in a 23-2 triumph.

W&J wraps up the regular season with Senior Day versus Franciscan University of Steubenville next Saturday (April 26). Start time is scheduled for 3 p.m. The Presidents will honor Lawyer and Phillips before the match.
