WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College women's golf team closed out action at the Annual Peter C. Rossin Invitational as the top team. The women's team finished 18 holes of action with a total team score of 359 (+71).

Top W&J Individual: Junior
Megan Joyce (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) capped the afternoon atop the field with a round low score of 83 (+11). Joyce edged Madison Sharek of Geneva by one stroke to win the individual medal.
Notables: Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area) finished as the next best golfer for W&J in fifth with an 18-hole score of 90 (+18).
Dinah Bailey (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) and
Lauren Tekely (Glendale, W.Va./John Marshall) each capped the afternoon with the same round score of 93 (+21) to finish tied for seventh.
MacKenzie Schmeltz (Edwardsburg, Mich./Saint Joseph) wrapped the Presidents top five with a tie for ninth with a day score of 94 (+22).
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: W&J took the team medal as the top unit in the seven-team field. Division II Seton Hill finished 10 strokes behind with a total team score of 369 (+81) on the day in second.
Up Next: The Presidents return to the course Monday (April 14) at the Win Palmer Cup hosted by Wittenberg. Action will take place in Sewickley, Pa. at the Allegheny Country Club.
