NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Two members of the Washington & Jefferson College Outdoor Track & Field Team earned recognition when All Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday (May 21) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season.

Top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-three ranked relay team.

Senior
Brock Pennington (North East, Pa./North East) and sophomore
Katie Kovalchick (Shelocta, Pa./Indiana Area) represented W&J for their efforts in the 5,000-meter run and the javelin throw, respectively.

Pennington concluded his career at W&J in record-breaking fashion, shattering the school record in the 5k. His time of 14.22.31 at the Widener Final Qualifier broke the previous record held by All-American runner
Harley Moyer '18 (14:33.81) from the 2018 season. His time finished 37
th in the country.

Kovalchick capped her 2025 campaign with a first-place finish in the javelin throw at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships. Her best throw of 38.99 meters (127' 11") ranked her 40
th in the nation at the time.
