Men’s Lacrosse Puts Three Presidents on All-PAC Teams

TRAFFORD, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College men's lacrosse team earned three All-Presidents' Athletic Conference selections following the 2025 season.
 
Paul Shook (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity), Braden Petrarco (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) and Austin Hopkins (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) represented W&J on the All-PAC Honorable Mention list.
 
Shook finishes his career in Red & Black as a back-to-back All-PAC Honorable Mention selection. Shook piloted the W&J offense with 31 goals, 27 assists and 58 points. Shook finished 13th all-time at W&J in points with 109 in his tenure. Shook also tallied 30 ground balls and six caused turnovers this season. The junior was also named PAC Offensive Player of the Week this past February for his performances against Pitt-Bradford (Feb. 15) and Marietta (Feb. 18).
 
Petrarco picks up his first All-PAC honor following his junior season. Petrarco was the Presidents took the vast majority of faceoffs for W&J (55-for-149), collecting a team-lead 91 ground balls. Petrarco finished fifth in the conference in ground balls per game with 5.35. Petrarco also finished second in the PAC in caused turnovers per game (2.06) with 35 on the season. Offensively, the junior added a career-high 20 goals, 20 assists, 40 points with two man-up goals. Petrarco was also named PAC Specialist Player of the Week this past February for his performances against Pitt-Bradford (Feb. 15) and Marietta (Feb. 18).
 
Hopkins held down the defensive backline for W&J, adding his first All-PAC selection to his career accolades. Hopkins finished the season with career highs in ground balls (64), caused turnovers (42), goals (four), assists (two) and points (six). Hopkins led the conference in caused turnovers per game, averaging 2.47 per outing.
 
Zach Mey (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) represented W&J on the 2025 PAC Sportsmanship Team. Mey finishes his career with 76 goals, 36 assists, 112 points, 74 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. The fifth year attack ranks 11th all-time in points at W&J.
