MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Following a 34-14 win over the formerly No. 18 ranked Grove City Wolverines, Washington & Jefferson College football senior wide receiver Jacob Macosko (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) and sophomore defensive back Dante DeRubbo (Washington, Pa./Trinity) each earned spots on the D3football.com Team of the Week, announced by the organization on Tuesday (Sept. 30).
 
Macosko torched the secondary for No. 18 Grove City as the Presidents secured a dominant 34-14 victory. He hauled in a career-high 15 receptions for a career-high 180 yards while adding a touchdown reception. This marks the third consecutive season Macosko has compiled more than 10 or more receptions and 160 or more receiving yards in the head-to-head matchups with the Wolverines.
 
DeRubbo was responsible for creating two costly turnovers in the Presidents' victory over No. 18 ranked Grove City, 34-14. DeRubbo collected his first and second collegiate interceptions against the Wolverines. His pick in the first quarter led to the first points of the game for the Presidents. DeRubbo also had three total tackles and an additional pass breakup.
 
The Presidents return to the gridiron next Saturday (Oct. 4) to face the Hiram Terriers on the road. Opening kickoff is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start.
