GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five members of the Washington & Jefferson College men's and women's swimming & diving teams have been selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Teams, as announced by the organization on Tuesday (April 7). The W&J Swim & Dive teams have had at least one representative on the CSC Academic All-District® Teams since the 2023 season.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swim & Dive Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District®, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and be a standout in the pool, competing in at least 75 percent of their team's competitions, or finish top-eight at a conference meet, or participate in a national championship.
Earning spots on the 2025-26 Men's Swim & Dive Academic All-District® Team are
Nathaniel Harden (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area),
Daniel Jeffries (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield Area),
Zach Lloyd (Dillsburg, Pa./Lloyd Academy (Homeschooled)), and
March Yuan (Simi Valley, Calif./Oak Park).
Harden set six personal best times throughout the 2025-26 season. The senior finished in the top eight in three events at the PAC Championships. Individually, Harden finished eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke. The senior captain was also part of the third-place finishing medley relay teams, including being the breaststroke leg of the school-record holding 200-yard medley squad. The senior was chosen as an All-PAC Honorable Mention and W&J's selection to the PAC Sportsmanship team. In the classroom, Harden has a 3.83 GPA with a major in physics. This is the second time that Harden has been selected for the Academic All-District® Team.
Jeffries set two school records at the season end conference championships. Individually, Jeffries set the 100-yard freestyle record with a time of 46.57. The junior was also the leadoff leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay team. Jeffries also set four personal best times at the event. The All-PAC Second-Team selection finished in the top eight of every event he competed in at the PAC Championships, including three podium finishes. In the classroom, Jeffries has built a 3.69 GPA with majors in both history and education.
Lloyd was named the 2025-26 PAC Male Diver of the Year and awarded an All-PAC First Team selection. The sophomore secured the conference championship in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. With an 11-dive score of 462.00 in the 1-meter during the dual meet against Wooster, Lloyd successfully qualified for the NCAA DIII Diving Regional Championships. In the classroom, Lloyd has built a 3.56 GPA with a major in chemistry.
Yuan had four top eight finishes at the PAC Championships, including a silver in the 200-yard butterfly and a bronze in the 400-yard individual medley. The sophomore set one personal best in the 100-yard freestyle during the 2025-26 season. Yuan's performances earned the sophomore an All-PAC First Team selection. The sophomore has accumulated a 3.84 GPA as a biology major.
Earning a spot on the 2025-26 Women's Swim & Dive Academic All-District® Team is
Audrey Kough (Fayetteville, Pa./Chambersburg). Kough had a top eight finish as the anchor leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay team. The senior captain gave the Presidents crucial points in all ten scored meets this past season. Kough was selected as W&J's representative on the PAC Women's Swim & Dive Sportsmanship Team. This is the third year that Kough has been selected for the CSC Academic All-District® Team.
Lloyd has been selected for the Academic All-American ballot. Voting by College Sports Communicators members will begin today (April 7) and last until Tuesday (April 14) before the results being announced on Wednesday (April 29).
