RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has awarded the Washington & Jefferson College's men's and women's swimming & diving teams with Scholar All-American honors for their academic achievements during the Spring 2026 semester.
Led by the eighth year head coach
Matt Rochna, the men's swimming and diving team secured a 3.32 cumulative team grade-point average and the women's swimming & diving team accumulated a 3.29 cumulative team GPA.
Teams were selected based on their academic performance during the Spring 2026 semester, with teams earning a team GPA of 3.0 or higher being eligible for distinction.
The CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2026 semester. These teams, comprising 16,680 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand.
