WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's tennis team opened with a 7-2 win over Mount Aloysius before besting Waynesburg 8-1 to secure the championship of the W&J Men's Tennis fall Invitational.
Waynesburg arrived at the final by defeating Marietta, 6-3. Marietta then secured third place with a 5-4 win over Mount Aloysius in the consolation match.
This concludes the fall portion of the W&J men's tennis schedule, as the Presidents will open up the spring season on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at Mount Aloysius at 3 p.m.
