Presidents go 2-0 at Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's tennis team began action on Saturday, Sept. 23, with a 7-2 Presidents' Athletic Conference win over Waynesburg before sweeping Marietta in a nonconference neutral site match.

The Presidents improve to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the PAC. Waynesburg earned a split on the day, putting its overall record at 2-2 (0-1 in the PAC), while Marietta dropped both matches to fall to 0-2 overall in its first action of the season.

W&J will not be back in action until February 17 when it hosts Ohio Northern at 3:00 p.m. in nonconference action from the Janet Swanson Tennis Center.
