WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson improved to 2-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with its second 5-4 victory of league play by taking down Grove City, 5-4.
The Presidents improve to 8-2 overall in 2017-18, which is the best start since the 2001 squad went 8-1 for the season. The 5-4 victory over the Wolverines is the first time W&J has bested Grove City since a 5-4 win in 1989.
W&J will continue with PAC play at the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center when it hosts Bethany at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, April 8.
