NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Seniors
Nate Wang (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) and
Sam Bellini (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) each collected a singles win but the Washington & Jefferson College men's tennis team fell 6-3 in its 2020-21 season opener at Westminster.
Wang posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles and Bellini registered a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles.
Wang teamed with
Nolan Rehrig (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe Area) at No. 1 doubles to earn an 8-4 victory.
Men's tennis is idle until March 27 when the Presidents host Geneva.
