TRAFFORD, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson College volleyball team's
Sophie Little (Marysville, Ohio/Fairbanks) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference Monday (Nov. 4). This marks the second time this season Little has been awarded PAC Offensive Player of the Week.
During the Presidents' two-win week, Little recorded 28 kills with a .423 attack percentage, averaging 4.0 kills/set. In W&J's 3-0 win against Waynesburg, Little totaled 12 kills, hitting .476, while adding a match-high six total blocks and five digs. She followed up with a 16-kill performance adding five total blocks in the 3-1 victory over Bethany on Saturday. Little currently leads the conference in hitting percentage with a .410 on the season, as well as averaging .93 blocks per set.
W&J returns home this week for a non-conference matchup with Pitt-Greensburg on Tuesday (Nov. 5). The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
