TRAFFORD, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson men's soccer team earned four players on the 2025 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Teams, as announced by the conference on Wednesday (Nov. 12).
Senior captain
Ethan Bowser (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward) earned All-PAC Second Team honors for his play this season. Bowser had two game-winning goals and two assists, starting in all 19 games this season. The tenured captain held down the midfield for four seasons with W&J, amassing 11 career assists, just shy of the top 10 in program history.
A trio of Presidents were also selected to the All-PAC Honorable Mention list including
Graeme Ewart (Arlington, Va./Yorktown),
Cole Young (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) and
Jimmy Gogol (Westminster, Md./Westminster).
Ewart made 58 saves and had two complete game shutouts. He finished the season ranked sixth in the conference in saves and save percentage (.773). Ewart also contributed to five additional shutouts where he played one half of the contest. The junior goalkeeper has 123 saves in his collegiate career as a President.
Young had one game-winning goal this past season, which doubled as his first collegiate score. The junior defenseman started 18 of the team's 19 games as a pivotal piece to their backline. Young also represented W&J on the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
Gogol led the team with seven goals this season, including five game-winners. In the PAC, he finished in a tie for first in game-winning goals this season. The junior captain finished his career with 18 goals as a President, tied for eighth all-time in career goals at W&J. Gogol finished two career points shy of the top 10 in points in program history with 41.
W&J finished the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 9-8-2 and a conference record of 5-5-1. The Presidents forced a double overtime thriller in the PAC Quarterfinals.
