TRAFFORD, Pa. - The Washington & Jefferson College women's lacrosse team was awarded two Presidents' Athletic Conference players of the week for their performances this past week.
Caleigh Bogats (Oakdale, Pa./Chartiers Valley) was tabbed with PAC Midfielder of the Week while
Mya Bolinda (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) picked up PAC Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference Monday (March 31).

Bolinda powered the W&J offense to two conference victories against Thiel and Chatham with 11 goals and four assists for 15 points offensively. In addition, on the defensive end, she racked up 10 draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls. Bolinda scored five goals against Thiel with three assists and eight draw controls in the 17-9 victory. Against Chatham, Bolinda netted six goals with one assist, two draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls. Four of her six goals came on free-position attempts in the 16-13 win.

Bogats made an impact all over the field in a two-win week for W&J against Thiel and Chatham. She racked up six goals, 10 ground balls, eight draw controls and a career-high seven caused turnovers. Bogats scored two goals against Thiel while halting the Tomcats from successful clears on their own end of the field with seven caused turnovers and eight ground balls. Against Chatham, Bogats scored four goals and snagged seven draw controls in the tight 16-13 victory.Â

The Presidents host Allegheny for a conference matchup on Saturday (April 5). The match will serve as the team's Morgan's Message game. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Alexandre Stadium.
