TRAFFORD, Pa. - Washington & Jefferson College women's soccer sophomore midfielder Alexa Taylor (Aliquippa, Pa./OLSH) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference Monday (Sept. 8).  

Taylor scored three goals, including both game winners in victories against La Roche and Penn State-Altoona. Taylor netted a career-high two goals against the Redhawks, striking first in the 57th minute and adding her second with 32 seconds to play for W&J in a 2-0 win. She continued her offensive hot streak against Penn State-Altoona, notching the game-winning goal in the 19th minute, as W&J went on to a 4-1 victory.

The Presidents look to continue this offensive consistency this Wednesday (Sept. 10) on the road against the Carnegie Mellon Tartans. The opening kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m.
