TRAFFORD, Pa. - Washington & Jefferson College sophomore Vitali Daniels (Scenery Hill, Pa./Bentworth) has been selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday (Jan. 12). This is the second time this season that Daniels has been selected for this award.
 
Daniels led the Presidents at the Virginia Duals with a 4-0 weekend. On day one of the tournament, Daniels opened with a 7-0 decision at the 184-pound weight class against Division II Frostburg State. The sophomore then wrapped day one with a win in a tight 184-pound contest, securing a takedown in the closing minute of the final period to win 6-3 against the Liberty University Club Team. Daniels won his match against Johns Hopkins by a 16-0 tech fall, aiding in the Presidents' victory over the Blue Jays and closed out the Virginia Duals with an 18-0 tech fall victory against Marymount.
 
The Presidents return home to Salvitti Family Gymnasium on Wednesday (Jan. 14) when they host a dual against the Muskingum Fighting Muskies. The dual will commence at 7:00 p.m.
