TRAFFORD, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson women's lacrosse senior captain Mya Bolinda (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) has been selected the Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday (March 16).
 
Bolinda averaged four goals, one assist, six draw controls and 1.5 ground balls with an 8-for-13 shooting percentage on goal on the team's 1-1 spring break trip to California. In a tight loss to Occidental, she led the team in scoring with four goals and a career-high 10 draw controls. In a 12-6 victory over Cal Lutheran, Bolinda added another four goals with two draw controls, two ground balls and one assist.
 
W&J will now return home from the West Coast. The Presidents host Marietta College for a non-conference game on Wednesday (March 18). Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Alexandre Stadium.
