TRAFFORD, Pa. – Washington & Jefferson College freshman Braydon Reighard (Oakdale, Pa./South Fayette) has been selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Newcomer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday (March 23).
 
Reighard helped power the W&J frontline, aiding in a 2-0 week with victories against Hiram and La Roche. The freshman had seven goals, one assist, seven ground balls and one caused turnover. In the Presidents' conference opener victory over Hiram, Reighard scored two goals which led W&J to the 9-8 overtime win. He additionally scored his first collegiate hat trick against the Redhawks with five goals and added one assist and six ground balls in a 19-0 victory.
 
W&J men's lacrosse returns to action on Wednesday (March 25) for a matchup with the Chatham Cougars in Presidents' Athletic Conference play. The league matchup is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start at Alexandre Stadium.
