GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Seniors Josh Etzel and David Dibenedetto both won matches, but Washington & Jefferson suffered a 35-6 PAC wrestling loss to Thiel Wednesday night.
Etzel, who improved his record to 18-2 this winter, edged Brandon Collins 3-1 at 157 pounds. Etzel now owns 87 career victories, the fourth-highest total in school history.Â
Dibenedetto won for the 13th time this year after earning an 8-6 overtime victory over Jerrold Roosa.Â
W&J travels to Wilkes Saturday for dual meets against the host Colonels and Trinity (Conn.).
