ERIE, PA. – The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team finished third overall in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship tournament.
Rachel Johnson won all three of her singles matchups and was PAC Champion of the Third Singles flight. She is the first W&J women's tennis player to win a singles flight at the PAC Championships since Stacey Rathgeb won third singles in 1993.
Courtney Brennan,
Kathryn Chase, and
Abigail Palmer all won two of their three matches in singles to each advance to the semifinals of each of their groups.
During doubles, all three partnerships: Brennan and McCarthy, Chase and Johnson, and Morrison and Palmer, won two of their three matches to advance to the semifinals but fell in their last rounds.
