How it Happened: Each team won five weight classes, but it was Waynesburg's win by fall in 3:50 at 133 pounds in the final bout of the evening that gave the Yellow Jackets the 22-21 victory in a Presidents' Athletic Conference dual match at the Henry Memorial Center.

Trevor Meyers (149) and
Ezekiel Stroupe (197) earned pinfall victories. Meyers posted a 5:23 fall over Waynesburg's Nick Kusich and Stroupe earned the pin against Joshua Sneeringer with just 2.6 seconds left in the match, 6:57 officially.
The Rest: W&J's three other victories were a trio of decisions. After Meyers' fall tied the match at 6-6,
Sam Florentino, at 157, gave the Presidents a 9-6 margin with a 3-1 decision over Derek Hull. After a major decision in favor of the Yellow Jackets,
Sonnieboy Blanco scored a 5-2 decision against Mike Millero at 174, putting W&J up 12-10. Stroupe's pin at 197 later made it 18-13 W&J, but a 5-0 decision for Waynesburg at heavyweight brought the Jackets within two, 18-16.
Jacob Spearman notched a 5-3 decision at 125 over Tristan Buxton in a match that involved three blood stoppages, 21-16. Waynesburg sealed the win with the pin at 133.
What's Next: The Presidents will travel to Collegeville, Pa., on Saturday, Jan. 16 for the Will Abele Invitational, hosted by Ursinus.
