WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's swimming team fell by a 210-63 score to Westminster College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference meet Saturday morning at Henry Natatorium.
Colin Higinbotham (Denver,Pa./Cocalico) was the only President to win an individual event. Higinbotham won both the 50 and 100 yard freestyles with his times of 22.34 and 50.06.
Alex Lee (Los Angeles,Calif./Eagle Rock),
Dean Kralic (Beaver Falls,Pa./Riverside), and
Warren Huang (Chino Hills,Calif/Chino Hills) posted solid efforts for W&J, earning a handful of second-place finishes. Lee was second in the 200 yard freestyle posting a time of 2:01.96. Kralic picked up two second-place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke (59.18) and 200 yard backstroke (2:09.84) while Huang earned silver with his time of 1:01.21 in the 100 yard butterfly.
Nick Belofsky (Aurora,Ohio/Aurora), Kralic,
Andrew Ivory (Gibsonia,Pa./Mars), and Higinbotham finished the afternoon with a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay posting a time of 1:34.19.
W&J returns to Henry Natatorium on Saturday, November 6 to host PAC competitor Chatham. The meet is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
