TRAFFORD, Pa. -- Following a pair of personal best efforts this past Saturday, Washington & Jefferson College senior track & field athlete
Jadyn Hartner (Washington, Pa./Fort Cherry) earned Track Athlete of the Week honors from the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
Hartner posted personal-best times in both the 400 Hurdles and the 100 Hurdles during competition Saturday at the Sparky Adams Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace.
Hartner finished first in the 400 Hurdles with a top time of 1:03.97, which currently ranks Hartner 21st in all of NCAA Division III and first in the PAC by more than two seconds. She added a third place effort in the 100 Hurdles, as she logged a personal-best time of 15.38 in the event, which is the third best on the PAC performance list this season.
W&J heads to the PAC Outdoor Championships on April 25-26. The two-day meet will be hosted at The Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park in Morgantown, W.Va.
